Awesome place with free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and air conditioning. The staff helped me find parking on my first stay, which I really appreciated. I can't wait to return for Christmas!

Improvements needed for cleanliness and maintenance!!! The room had rips in the furniture, a broken bathroom door, and poorly functioning entry cards. Higher security measures could enhance safety in this area!!!

The location was convenient for food options and

made it easy to grab meals from nearby fast-food places. However, I did feel a bit uneasy with the transient population in the area. Overall, it was a decent stay, just with a few concerns about safety.

Consider bringing your own cleaning supplies, as cleanliness standards seem to be lacking throughout the hotel.

Decent enough for the price

I had a frig, microwave, cold a/c, and hot water which set me off to a good start. The location is great for food, with fast food spots just feet from the hotel.

It wasn’t cheap but acceptable.

The area felt unsafe, with many questionable individuals around the property. Cleanliness improved a lot. the room had nice new wood floors. Close to a golf course, which was a plus for my stay. Overall not the worst choice, but I wouldn't come back.

Drug deals were occurring outside, with disturbing encounters from loiterers, including harassment. The room was equally disappointing, stained sheets, ripped chairs, and unclean towels. A lack of attention from staff exacerbated my concerns when issues arose with my reservation and pricing.

The place has its quirks, like some bugs and a slightly shabby vibe, but the fridge, microwave, and effective air conditioning made it pleasant. The surrounding area has convenient food options, although I did notice some loitering that made me a little uneasy at times.

While the hotel location offers easy access to downtown Raleigh, the surroundings felt unsafe. I encountered some unsettling activity nearby. However, I enjoyed the fresh Southern comfort food at the nearby Popeyes, which really brightened my stay. Consider nearby dining for peace of mind.

Had a great time with friends! The location was perfect for golfing at Hedingham Golf Club and exploring Historic Oak View County Park. We loved the convenience of being just a 5-minute drive to the golf course. The overall vibe was casual, and it made for a fun getaway!

If you're craving some Southern comfort food, you're in luck! Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, just a hop away, serves up finger-lickin' fried chicken that'll make your taste buds dance. Plus, the staff at the Budgetel? Shoutout to that kind lady behind the desk—she's the real MVP of my stay!
